MEMORANDUM FOR SEE DISTRIBUTION
SUBJECT: Issuance of the New and Modified Nationwide Permits and the Expiration Date of Nationwide Permit 26
1. The new and modified Nationwide Permits (NWPs) that will replace NWP 26 will not be published in the Federal Register on 14 February 2000. The new and modified NWPs are currently scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on 2 March 2000. A revised schedule for the issuance of the new and modified NWPs is enclosed.
2. Accordingly, revision of the expiration date for NWP 26 will be published in the Federal Register notice announcing the issuance of the new and modified NWPs. Corps districts will process all NWP 26 PCNs submitted on or before the publication date of the new and modified NWPs (currently scheduled for 2 March 2000).
