WSSI Internship Program

We believe being the best in the field starts with training future generations. Each summer, we host a class of talented individuals pursuing degrees in the engineering, environmental, and science fields.

Our internship program offers a diverse learning opportunity across all service lines and departments at WSSI. Interns participate in daily activities that affect real projects. We’re much more than a shadowing program – our interns receive hands-on experience in everything from plant identification to survey techniques. They leave with a deep understanding of what it means to be a natural and cultural resource consultant.

Our internship program is an integral part of our organization – with over 15% of our staff having started as interns before accepting full time positions within the company. From entry level staff to our executive leadership team, our internship alumni can be found throughout the company.

Are you interested in starting, or expanding, your career as a natural and cultural resource consultant? We’re always looking for great people to join our team! Keep an eye out this fall for the 2023 internship program application.
