MAC-IECA 28th Annual Conference and Expo
Wetland Studies and Solutions Inc. (WSSI) is proud to be this year’s lead sponsor for the annual conference of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association to be held September 14-16 at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport Hotel in northern Virginia. The conference features dynamic speakers, an expo hall to catch up on the latest in erosion control and stormwater management products, and networking opportunities for industry professionals, as well as opportunities to earn professional development credits. The conference kicks off on Tuesday the 14th with a golf tournament at 1757 Golf Club in Dulles.
WSSI staff will lead a field trip in our Northern Virginia Stream Restoration Bank
WSSI staff will make presentations at the conference addressing Practical Applications of Reality Capture for Monitoring & Inspections and a Case Study of an Urban Stream Restoration Project Restoring Riparian Wetlands and will lead a field trip to see those same restored streams in WSSI’s Northern Virginia Stream Restoration Bank in nearby Reston. The field trip includes a visit to the ASCE Headquarters to see the parking lot’s stormwater-focused transformation; we were happy to be part of that work as well. WSSI will also have a booth in the exhibit hall, and we encourage you to come see us there!
